Music Slider (the “App”), provided by Outides, does not collect your personal information.
Network access, analytics, and tracking
The App itself makes no network connections. It does not send the playing track, outputs, settings, or usage information to the developer. It includes no analytics, tracking, or external advertising or crash-reporting services.
Information read from the Music app
Through Apple Events, the App reads the current track’s title, artist, album and artwork, the playback state, the volume, and the names and volumes of audio outputs from the Music app, and shows them in the menu bar and popover. This information is handled only in memory for display, is not saved to a file, and is not sent anywhere.
Information stored on your Mac
Your setting (whether to show the volume in the menu bar) and the position of the Settings window are saved only in the App’s dedicated container on your Mac.
Permissions
The App asks for macOS Automation (Apple Events) permission to control the Music app. It controls only the Music app. You can revoke the permission at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation.
In-app purchases
The App has no in-app purchases.
Information you send to support
If you contact us by email, we use your email address and message only to respond to your inquiry and do not share them with third parties. To have them deleted, let us know from the same email address.
